WideOpen Beginner Guide: Your First Controlled Ride
Start WideOpen with a short practice routine, readable traffic gaps, and a clear plan for your first scored ride. Includes dated video references.
Start with control, then add risk

Planning your first ride: ItzVexo’s Play menu at 5:38, October 6, 2026. This menu separates scored riding options; our routine below starts with practice.
WideOpen is a Roblox motorcycle game by Elevator4022. Its official description centres on traffic, wheelies and police pursuits. A useful first goal is a clean, repeatable ride, rather than a particular top speed.
The routine below is our suggested learning order. The button prompts come from dated gameplay footage; this is not a claim that we personally tested the current beta.
- Learn the view. Keep enough road visible to spot the next traffic gap. Try a camera you can read comfortably before changing settings during a chase.
- Practise a straight line. Accelerate, release the input and steer deliberately. Learn how much space your current bike needs before attempting a close pass.
- Add one wheelie. The tutorial shows Space + W, with the instruction to hold Space with the gas on. Start on a clear stretch and return to normal riding before traffic tightens.
- Make a short scored attempt. Focus on one skill. When the ride ends, compare the result with what you intended to improve.
- Change one thing. A new camera setting, a different riding technique and several upgrades at once make it difficult to tell what helped.
Practice is for learning
At 0:43 in ItsChalls’ tutorial, the screen explicitly reads PRACTICE — NO POINTS. Treat this as a place to learn the input sequence, not as a cash-farming route. See the controls and wheelies guide for the keyboard prompts and their limits.

Read the traffic before choosing a trick
Look beyond the vehicle beside you. If the next gap is closing, abandon the stunt and keep the bike stable. A useful practice exercise is to repeat the same short section with fewer abrupt lane changes, then try a single controlled pass. This is a learning exercise, not a measured highest-income strategy.
Do not assume that a long video run establishes an hourly cash rate. Editing, bike setup and the selected mode can change the comparison. Our cash and results guide explains how to evaluate your own runs without mixing points with money.
Before your first purchase
Open the garage and read both the displayed cash price and any career requirement. A bike being visible does not mean your account can buy it. The garage guide shows a dated example and a simple purchase checklist.
WideOpen is still labelled beta. Check the current update notes when a menu differs from the video, and use the Codes status page for confirmed public information about rewards.
